TLDR;
Create a splash page that houses all sign-up page links– each linking page should act as a preview for the thing you're signing up for.
The Long Version
The general link page takes a bare bones approach to the classic BlackPaint Studios look because its main purpose is quick navigation. Despite pulling back on the main page, we let loose on those preview pages (Eyes-Open and Newsletter sign-up pages) fully embracing Black Paint's maximalist aesthetic.
Eyes-Open Milwaukee is an ongoing series of advocacy campaigns that uses art to bring awareness to issues impacting the city of Milwaukee. It’s a project operated by BlackPaint Studios.

2021 Cat Resolution - Cats can have big personalities and are best know for doing whatever they want - I searched for the purrfect candidate with multiple photos and worked some Photoshop magic to stitch them together. Cats will be cats. I’m sure this guy’s resolutions have something to do with a healthy amount of delectable treats.

InDesign
Activity pages designed to get girls thinking about what it means to be a girl in America today. These activities offer the opportunity for girls to explore their leadership, values, heroes and identity. “This summer (2020), girls are more isolated and lacking in typical summer engagement opportunities,” said Jodi Eastberg, PhD, executive director of the Research Center for Women and Girls. “We want to do our part to provide girls with positive activities that help them to think about their own leadership and identities.”

This is what 155 happy customers look like.
Through copious amounts of tea & coffee and a never-ending supply of fantastically adorable fan submissions I created 155, individual, digital valentines for Stella & Chewy’s second annual campaign.
We added 2,435 fans, 1,433 uses of the hashtag, a 6.8% engagement rate, and 15,375 profile views (a 93% increase).
#LoveFromStella encourages the online Stella & Chewy's community to share photos of their pets with this hashtag for a chance to have a custom card designed for them. Oh hey - that’s where I come in to work some Photoshop magic!
When the community reposts these digital cards it creates an organic reach and word spreads like wildfire - that is the real magic.

Inktober is a worldwide art challenge where artists do a different ink drawing every single day of October. That's 31 drawings in 31 days!
This being my first year of the challenge I started off with quality over quantity. Needless to say I missed the 31 drawing mark by an awful lot! But, I had fun and that's what matters most in a challenge such as this. Here are a few of my favorites.
Global Typography Challenge
Adobe partnered with 36 Days of Type to celebrate the art of type and lettering design around the world. For 36 days, any designer, illustrator, artist, or hobbyist can put their own creative take on a letterform and share it with the world.
26/36 (I choose to pass on the numbers).
I drew free hand letters accompanied by cute critters whose names start with each letter of the alphabet. As my letters progressed, I made an effort to choose a few lesser known animals like the Zorilla, Kudu, and Tarsier.

Passion Project
A series of light-hearted little truths between friends and overall relatable moments.
Everyone deserves a bestie. Friends come in many forms, whether blood or chosen you are loved by someone!
(from left to right)
#bestieconfessional 1: I recycle the pet names you give me because I love them...and if I love them-you will love them too.
#bestieconfessional 2: Bae doesn’t begin to describe you. Also it means p00p in danish - so there’s that.
#bestieconfessional 3: The only intro you’ll ever need is “sista from another mista” or your name...because I talk about you so much that practical strangers know you on a first-name basis.
#bestieconfessional 4: Dying of laughter is 100% a reality around you.
#bestieconfessional 5: We’re human and we toot. If she “can’t even”...BYE FELICIA!
#bestieconfessional 6: I get a little teary-eyed thinking about our friendship.
#bestieconfessional 7: I’m a little jealous of your beauty and poise.
#bestieconfessional 8: tbh we’re basically expert texting consultants.
#bestieconfessional 9: I stalk the f*ck out of your crushes.
Painting with Emotion
I began this project as a tribute to my late grandfather. I had no intention of falling in love with the process and medium. To be honest, I expected a one-and-done piece.
My grandfather’s passing ignited a deep desire to share his beautiful spirit with the world. I aimed to manifest joy, love and inner beauty—powerful emotions that couldn't be portrayed easily through a photograph or a portrait. Abstract art became the ideal medium.
Digging Deeper
Our actions and reactions both in relationships and in abstract painting create results that we discover along the way.
I didn't stop with my grandfather (top photo). I continued to explore and expand the collection. I drew inspiration from other close family & friends. Each painting is a "portrait", color palettes inspired by personalities.
Why "Emotional Pruning"?
Relationships are rooted in emotion. Much like a garden, they require a certain amount of love and attention to blossom and flourish.
